“I worked with Larry at the O’Neill Puppetry Conference, where he was acting music director, and also served double duty as a member of the cast/puppeteer. As I was singing the demanding role of “Sweeney Todd,” Larry gave me a few private vocal coachings, where he employed Alexander Technique to help identify how tight my neck was while singing. (I discovered I couldn’t even take a breath without tightening my neck!) I was puppeteering eight hours a day and my right arm and wrist were seizing up. Within a few minutes of working with Larry and his application of the Alexander Technique, the tension and strain were immediately relieved, and I could continue my work pain-free. This is truly a game changer for professional puppeteers!”
